よく考えてみたらどっちでもよかったなって英語でなんて言うの？

「よく考えてみたらどっちでもよかったな」ですね？

① On second thought, I didn't have to.
※ on second thought　よく考えてみると
※ didn't have to　しなければならない訳じゃなかった

② Well, on second thought, maybe it was not necessary.
※ necessary　義務的な

なんとなく絶対行かなきゃという気持ちにかられてたけど...、よく考えてみたらどっちでもよかったな
I felt like I had to go, but on second thought, maybe it was not necessary.

こんな感じでいかがでしょうか？

どっちでも良かったということは行きたくないから行かない
か絶対行かなきゃという選択肢だったのでしょうか。

「本当は行きたくないもののなんとなく絶対行かなきゃという気持ちにかられてたけど
よく考えてみたらどっちでもよかったな」
"I didn't really want to go though I was in the kind of notion that I had to,
but now that I think about it, I don't mind whichever" など

Now that I think about it はどちらかというと今（よく）考えてみたら に近いです。

どっちでもいいではなくどうでもいいと言いたい場合は後者の
I don't care が使えます。
