薬を飲み残すって英語でなんて言うの？

「飲み残しの薬」は「leftover medicine」です。 「取っておいて」は「set aside」です。 でも両方を同じの文章だとそもそも飲んだかわからなくなりますんで、どっちかを使うってことです。 「医者からもらった薬を取っておいて、次の病気の時にまた使います」は「I set aside the medicine I received from the doctor to use for the next time I get sick.」 「医者からもらった薬の飲み残しを次の病気の時にまた使います」は「I will use the leftover medicine I got from the doctor the next time I get sick.」

「医者からもらった薬を取っておいて、飲み残しの薬を次の病気の時にまた使います」 "I'll keep some of the medicine I got from the doctor, and take it the next time I'm sick." 「残す」は「leave」「not use」と言って、「飲み残し」は「the medicine I didn't take」です。でもそれを動詞にするのはちょっと難しいです。「not take some medicine and save it till later」は長すぎますね。上記の三つの例文は一番いいと思いますが、「not take」ははっきり言ってないですね、短くするために。それは普通の英語の言い方でしょう。
