よそ見をするって英語でなんて言うの？

1) I was looking away so I didn't see what happened.
「よそ見していて何が起こったか見なかった。」

2) I wasn't paying attention so I didn't notice anything.
「よそ見していたので何も気付かなかった。」

「よそ見する」は
look away や
not paying attention
と言えます。
