10月1日って英語でなんて言うの？

日付を英語で書く場合には、日にちの部分が序数となるため「1日」は「one」ではなく「first」と表します。
そのため、10月1日は、「October 1st」となります。

例：
Tomorrow is October 1st (first).
明日は10月1日です。

ただ、「st」部分を省略して「1」とだけ記載する場合も多くあります。
その場合は、「October 1」となります。
日付を発音する場合は、「1」と書いてあっても「1st」とあっても「first」と発音します。

英語の日付を表す方法をご紹介します。
1. 数字をスラッシュで区切り表現するパターン
「10/1/2019」のように表現されます。
日常で一般的によく使われます

2.月を数字でなくアルファベットで表現
日付に助数詞を表す接尾辞をつけて「October 1st, 2019」や接尾辞をつけずに「October 1, 2019」と表現することができます。
フォーマルな場合やビジネスでよく使われます。

また、アメリカとイギリスで表記の仕方が異なるので注意が必要です。
アメリカ式は「月、日付、年」、イギリス式は「日付、月、年」となります。

2019年10月1日アメリカ式で「10/1/2019」ですが、イギリス式では、「1/10/2019」と記載されます。
数字をアルファベットで表現した場合アメリカ式は「October 1st, 2019」、イギリス式は「October, 1 2019」となります。
一般的にイギリス、オーストラリア、ヨーロッパなどでは、「日付、月、年」とが使われることが多いです。

10月はOctoberもしくはOct.と表記することができます。

1月から12月の英語表記（スペル）と短縮系と読み方は以下のようになります。

一番簡単な書き方としては、②の形になります。

最後の数字は「１」なら"st"を付けることです。 なぜなら、"first"になります。

"1st of October"はアメリカ人としてあまり使われていない気がします。
