桁数って英語でなんて言うの？

「桁数」は digit(s)と言います。

The more digits there are in a number the harder it is to remember.
「数の桁数が増えれば増えるほど覚えるのが難しい。」

The longer the number the harder it is to calculate.
「桁数が増えると計算が難しくなる。」

数字の「桁数」は、上記の英単語を使います。"digits"、"figures"と「桁」を表す単語が複数形であることにご注意ください。

「桁数が多い数の計算は、とても難しいです。」は、"It is very hard to calculate big numbers.「大きな数の計算はとても大変です。」"や"It is very complicated to calculate numbers with many digits.「多くの桁を持つ数の計算はとても複雑です。」"などと英訳できます。（桁数という表現は使っていませんが、これらの方が自然だと思います。）
