I got to see the artist very close up

Because I got a seat near the front at the live, I got to see the artist very close up

  • I was so close to the artist!

The phrase "so close" is used very commonly in American English so your listener will be able to easily understand what you're saying. In place of "the artist," you can put the name of who you went to see in concert. I hope that this helps. :)

  • I was very close to the stage

"I saw the Artist up close" and "I was very close to the stage"
Both of these statements, usually used in a concert or talking about a music concert, that you where 'up close' meaning very close to something, and 'very close to the stage', the 'stage' is the word given to the area where the musician will perform.
"I saw the Artist up close"(そのアーティストを間近で見られた)

"I was very close to the stage"(ステージのすぐそばで見られた)

'very close to the stage'(ステージのすぐ近くで)

When you went to a concert, you were able to see the artist up close because your seat was near the front. You can explain that you saw the artist "up close" by using one of the above example statements.
