「着陸」は landing、 飛行機が着陸態勢入って車輪が滑走路に着くのを touch down と言います。
I can't get on an airplane because I'm afraid of the feeling I get when it lands.
「着陸するときの感覚が怖くて飛行機に乗れない。」
I get scared the moment a plane comes in for landing so I don't fly anywhere.
