場所を指定するって英語でなんて言うの？

UBER eatsなどで間違った場所を指定しまった場合、
I’m sorry for assigning a wrong place by mistake. と言うことは出来ますか？ \"場所を指定する\"と調べたら、decide on a place/appoint the place/ name a placeなども出てきたのですがどれがこのシチュエーションでは使うことができるのでしょうか？

このシチュエーションでは、assignでも間違えではないけど、私ならchooseを使います。その方が自然な英語っていう感じです。
Uberのアプリを使うときに、間違って違う所にピンを置いたなら、clickでもいいです。
