「本場」は「Authentic」「Genuine」「The real thing」で通じますがこの場合は「the real thing」の方が自然な表現です。
これは訳と言うよりも言い方なのですが、"It is a Japanese thing!"と"It is"を大きく少しゆっくりめに言いながら表現すると「あ！ほら！日本の本当のやつじゃん！」のようなニュアンスにすることが出来るのです。
