トランクは英語ではsuitcaseと言うことが多いです。
物の位置を表す表現は色々あるのでまとめて覚えておくと役立ちます。
next to : 〜の隣に
The bag is next to the table.
テーブルの横に鞄があります。
between : A and B
The bag is between the table and the bookshelf.
鞄はテーブルと本棚の間にあります。
behind : 〜の後ろに
The bag is behind the bookshelf.
鞄は本棚の後ろにあります。
under : 〜の下に
The bag is under the table.
鞄はテーブルの下にあります。

トランクは、大きなスーツケース、あるいは単なるスーツケースのどちらかだと思いますので、実際に合わせて suitcase/trunk の使いたい方を使ってください。
本棚は bookshelf、「〜の横に」は next to 〜、または beside 〜 なので、
Please put the suitcase/trunk next to the bookshelf.
のように言えばいいでしょう。
