「早退する」は leave early や go home early と言います。他には take the rest of the day off という表現もあります。こちらは直訳で「[残りの](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/46241/)1日を[休む](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/43209/)」という意味で、半日働いたけど早退するって時に take the rest of the day off と言います。
例：

When you want to say that you are leaving work or school early you can say:
I'm knocking off early today.
Knocking off early is a phrasal verb used to describe leaving somewhere early. It is an informal expression which is commonly used in the UK.
You can also simply say you are leaving early or you are ducking out early which is another phrasal verb to describe leaving early. It comes from the idea of a duck dipping its head in the water on a lake.
