「屈折率」という言葉を英語で伝えると、「refractive index」という表現も「index of refraction」という表現も使っても良いと考えました。例えば、「We learned about the index of refraction when we studied light in science class.」という文章を使っても良いです。この文章に、「index of refraction」の代わりに、「refractive index」も入れても良いです。「Study」は「勉強する」という意味があって、「light」は「光」という意味があります。「Science class」は「科学の授業」です。
「屈折率」は refractive index や index of refraction と言います。
