夕日＝ sunset
※ 真っ◯ ※
日本語の「真っ◯」という言い方は英語にもあります。しかし、多くの場合その色のものを使って言います。
真っ黒＝ pitch black (pitch = ピッチ という樹脂）
真っ赤＝ beet red (beet = ビート）
真っ白＝ snow white
以上の言い方は決まり文句で、どんなものを使ってもいいわけではありません。

しかし、「beet red」は恥ずかしくて顔が赤くなるという場面に使うので、この場面にあまり合わないと思います。
かわりに「really」（とても）と言います。
最後の「ね」は相手の同意を求めるので、英語で「don't you think?」 （そう思わない？）と言います。
The sunset today is really red, don't you think?

The setting sun is amazingly red today.
これは意外と難しかったです。英語文化だと夕日よりも夕暮れ（sunset）に注目することのほうが多いのですね。逆になぜ日本では夕日が赤いことに注目してそれを人とシェアしたいと思うのだろう？と考えてしまいました。もちろん素晴らしい眺めだねと共感してくれる人もいるでしょう。ただ、思ったような反応が返ってこないこともあるかもしれません。
Look at the setting sun. （「あの夕日を見て」とまず呼び掛けて注意を向けてもらいましょう。）It's blazing red.（「燃えるように赤いね」ここは、どう赤いかを表現する表現力の見せ所です）
The color of sunset today is redder than ever, isn't it?（「今日の夕焼けは、いつもよりずっと赤いね。そう思わない？」比較級＋than ever は いつもより、今までに見たことがないほどという意味で使います）
The setting sun is amazingly red today.（「今日は夕日が驚くほど（すばらしく）赤い」日記や手紙に書く場合のちょっと文学的な表現を考えてみました。）

Fiery-red is a description of an intense burning red and is particularly appropriate for the sun as it suggests heat as well as colour.
Scarlet is the name of a deep, dramatic red colour.
The setting sun can sometimes look a rich deep red color inclining to purple or between red and black. However, as opposed to when the sun is high up in the sky when it is shining brightly and you can't look at it directly with your naked eyes, the setting sun is soft in outlook, and, no matter what color it is, you can look at it directly with your naked eyes because it's rays are not shining directly at you. When it's color is 'very red', you may say:
The setting sun is crimson today.
or
The setting sun is deep red today
夕日は時々深い赤色で、だんだん紫や赤から黒っぽくなる時がありますね。日中の太陽は直接肉眼で見ることはできませんが、夕日は日差しが強くないので何色だとしても肉眼でみることができます。
夕日の色がとても赤いときは、以下のように表現することができます。
The setting sun is crimson today.（今日の夕日は真っ赤・あかね色です。）
The setting sun is deep red today（今日の夕日濃い赤色です。）
Red sky at night; shepherds delight,
Red sky in the morning; shepherds warning.'
This an old saying dating back to at least 1395. it seems to infer that the following day will be good weather. It is an extremely well known saying in the UK.
On the other hand, on noticing the red sky, you may prefer to simply say:
"What a red sunset!" Or, if you are feeling poetic, may state:
"The sky is bleeding!"

これは少なくとも1395年頃の昔のことわざで、翌日天気がよくなることを推測しているそうです。これはイギリスでは非常によく知られたことわざです。
一方で、赤い空に気付いたら、単純にこのように言うとよいかもしれません:
"What a red sunset!"（なんて赤い夕日なの！）
もしくは、詩的表現をするならば:
"The sky is bleeding!"（空から血が出ている！）
"The sunset resembles blood today."
To resemble blood is to look so red that it may be compared to blood.
"We have a beautiful and red sunset today."
This is the simplest way to explain that the sunset is very red today.It is a good idea to use metaphors and other figures of speech to express your ideas.

To resemble blood（血に似ている）とは、血液と比較できるほど赤く見えるということです。
