または下のような言い方もできますよ。

flicker は「（光などが）明減する・チカチカする」
bulb で「電球」
2) The desk lamp is about to burn out. Could you please put a new bulb in?
「デスクランプの電球が切れそうなので、新しい電球をつけてもらえますか？」
burn out で「（電球が）切れる」
about to で「〜しそうである」
