3. This phrase includes an exclamation of surprise or shock. Please remember that the expression, 'My god!' may be offensive to some so best save it for your close friends.
何が鳴いてるの？は以下のように英訳できます。

１）は動物に限らず、どの音に対しても使え、一番応用が利くフレーズです。
