Hi Miho! 計画通り As planned 思い通り As thought しかしこの場合は On time, on scheduleと言います。 The meeting ended on time. The meeting ended on schedule.

bang on time = 時間ピッタシ "The train arrived bang on time.

Punctual' and 'on time' are adjectives that describe something happening on the agreed time. If you decide that a meeting starts at 6 then the meeting should start at 6. ________________________________________________________________________ Example A: John will make a great employee B: Why? A: He is hard working and punctual
________________________________________________________________________ 例 A: John will make a great employee (ジョンはいい社員になると思います) B: Why?(なぜ?) A: He is hard working and punctual

  • The meeting ended right on time.

  • The meeting ended as scheduled.

If something was scheduled to last thirty minutes and it ends exactly after thirty minutes and not a minute more, it will have ended right on time. For example, if a meeting was scheduled to start at 10.00 am and end at 10.30 am, and it ends at exactly 10.30 am, it will have ended right 'on time' or it will have ended 'as scheduled'. So, you may say: The meeting ended right on time. or The meeting ended as scheduled.
The meeting ended right on time.(ミーティングは時間通りに終わりました。) The meeting ended as scheduled.(ミーティングはスケジュールされた通りに終わりました。)

When talking about something that will finish when it is supposed to, we can say that it will either finish, "on time," or also, "on schedule." Example The play will finish exactly on time. The match ends on schedule.
