"稼動"は｢operation｣や｢work｣となり"稼動中"は｢in operation｣や｢operating｣､または｢working｣となります｡｢working｣の方は"作業中､働いている"と言う意味も兼ねてます｡
別の例として｢in use｣で"使用中"とも表現できるかと｡
例
・The machine is currently in operation（機会は現在稼動中です）
・This machine is currently in use（この機会は現在使用されてます）
「稼働中」は “working” とか “running” とか言います。例えば “This machine gets very hot while running so please be careful not to touch it.” （この機械は稼働中にとても熱くなりますから、触らないように気を付けて下さい。）”All of the machinery in the factory is working normally.” （工場の機械は全て稼働中で異常なしです。）
