「どのくらいの顧客を」の部分の解釈に悩みました。
シンプルに顧客の実数を問題にしているのであれば上記のように
how many customers：何人の顧客

「製品がどう顧客を惹きつけるか」という意味合いであれば
We still need to validate how this product will attract customers.

としてもいいですね。

顧客：customer(s)
顧客を集める：attract customers
（＊顧客を惹きつけるto attractに意訳をしています）
製品：product(s)
検証：validate, verify
