1.) where everything started (始まりの場所) 「始まりの場所」は英語で直訳するとstarting placeと訳せます。Starting placeは小説に使う時はつまらないと思います。それでもっと小説っぽくの言い方は英語でwhere everything startedと訳せます。
例えば、
This is the place where everything started. (ここはすべての始まりの場所だった)
「全ての始まりの場所」は where it all started / where everything started / where it all began などのように言えます。
where は「どこ」という意味ですが where 〜 となると「〜の場所」という意味になります。「全て」は all とか everything で大丈夫です。「始まった」は started とか began です。where it all started ＝ 「全てが始まった場所」となります。
