「楽しかった」を訳すのは "It was fun" か "I enjoyed it" どちらでも使えます。"It was fun" の方は少しカジュアルです。 誰かと「食事をする」とは英語で "have dinner ｗith"/"have lunch with" は自然ですが "eat with" も言えます。 二人だけの食事の場合は "with a research colleague" は正しいですが三人以上ならば複数形の "with research colleagues"を使った方が良いです。 「久々に」は "for the first time in OO" になります。例えば： "for the first time in a while"　　　 "for the first time in ages"　　　　特に長い間です。カジュアルです。 "for the first time in a long time"　もっと硬い表現です。 最後に "Let's meet again" は「また会いましょう」で "We'll meet again" またはカジュアルな "We'll get together again" の方はより強くて「あつまりますよ」です。
