代理としては「as a substitute」や「on the behalf of~」と表現できますね。
最初の例の「substitute」はそのまま"代理"または"代用品"と言う意味になります。二番目の例の「on the behalf of~」は"○○の代わりに、○○を代表して"と言う意訳になります。
