家具を置くときの「置く」はto putかto placeという動詞を使うといいです。
「家具」はfurnitureと言います。不可算名詞（複数形がない）です。
例文
リビングルームにこの家具を置いてください。
Please put this furniture in the living room.
「家具」furnitureについて
単数なのか複数なのかをはっきりさせたい場合は、「一個」というような意味のpieceを一緒に使います。
単数 → a piece of furniture
複数 → pieces of furniture
