季節 = season
英語では、influenza より、the flu の方が人気があります。例えば、I have the flu か I caught the flu. 日常会話では、the flu を言います。ですが、医者などは、influenza を言うと思います。
この場合は、to go around ということは、人から人へ移動するという意味です。回っているということですね。
「日本の冬はインフルエンザが流行る季節です。」
