「写真が縦向きです」
「縦向き」は英語で vertical と言います。対して、「横向き」は horizontal です。
vertically / horizontally は「垂直に」「水平に」です。
horizon は「地平線」という意味なので horizontal は「横向き」だと覚えやすいかと思います。
【例】
The photo is vertical. Can you take it horizontally?
「写真が縦向きです。横向きに撮っていただけますか？」
