感覚を身に着けたいとは英語で "develop a sense" と言えます。"develop" の他に "acquire" も言えますが両方はこの際に同じ意味になります。
感覚とは "sense" が良いと思いますが "instinct" とか "intuition" も使えます。
ただ、"instinct", "intuition" のほうは普段、生まれたからずっと持っているものです。
