「ほぼ平均」は about the average と言います。
例：
I make about the average salary of a Japanese person my age.
「私は日本の同年代のほぼ平均給料を稼ぐ。」
I make roughly the same as most people my age in Japan.
「私は日本の同年代の人とおおよそ同じくらい稼ぐ。」
roughly the same「おおよそ同じくらい」を使っても表現できるかと思います。
