Today after GW I thought fewer coworkers took consecutive holidays compared the past years.

  • Fewer people are taking consecutive holidays this year compared to other years.

  • Not as many people are taking several days off in a row this year compared to past years.

ーFewer people are taking consecutive holidays this year compared to other years. Not as many people are taking several days off in a row this year compared to past years. 「連休」は consecutive holidays の他に several days off in a row とも言えます。 「例年」は other years past years などと言えます。 例: I realized today, the first day back after Golden Week, that fewer people took consecutive holidays this Golden Week compared to other years.
