テストが終わったらこの本を読みますって英語でなんて言うの？

テストが終わるまでは我慢するというニュアンスです。特に「テストが終わったら」は、\"when the test (ends/ is over)\"の２パターンが考えられますがどちらが良いですか？
ネイティブが使う自然な表現を教えてください。

as soon as = 終わってすぐに
I'll read this book as soon as the test is over.
I'll read this book as soon as the test ends.
どっちも使えます。でも test is over のほうが使われると思います。
As soon as the test is over, I'll read this book. とも言えます。

ネイティブであれば テストが終わったら より テストを終えたらと言った感じで
when I finished the test と言う表現を使う気がします。

テストが終わったら と言いたい場合は when the test is over が良いです。
When the test ends とは滅多にいいません。

この本を読みます は未来形で I'll read this book と表現できます。
