信号停止していて運転手がよそ見していました。助手席の人がたまに出発を促します。goが適切な動詞ですか？

「(信号が)青だよ」
英語で青信号は緑:greenになります。
システム異常なし！という時もall green!といいます。
「行っていいよ。青だよ」
信号が青に変わった時に瞬時に言いやすいことを前提に訳してみました。
注意するのは「青信号」はblue light ではなく、green lightというところです。
It's gone/turned means the lights have changed colour.
You don't normally need to say "it's gone green, you can go now", because the subject you are talking about it obvious.
These sphrases are casual, if you'd like it to be more polite then you can say, "excuse me, it's gone green" or "excuse me, the lights have changed".
It's gone/turned は、信号の色が変わったことを意味します。
話している主題が明らかなので、通常、「青になったので、行けますよ」と言う必要はありません。
これらの文はカジュアルな言い方です。
もっと丁寧な言い方をするのであれば、"excuse me, it's gone green" 「すみません、青になりましたよ。」または "excuse me, the lights have changed".「すみません、信号が変わりました。」と言うことができます。

When the signal light changes the driver is looking away or not paying attention, the person in the front passenger seat can say simply, "The light is green." Or, "Go."
信号の色が変わったのに、運転手がよそ見してたり気づいていなかったら、助手席の人が"The light is green." または "Go."といえば、良いと思います。

Traffic lights change colour to tell us when its safe to go (or not!)
We say in English...that "the lights have "Changed to" or turned green "
that phrase is usually enough to communicate this reality;-D
安全に信号を渡れるか、もしくは渡れないというのは信号の色で判断しますよね。英語では、"the lights have "Changed to" もしくは turned green "で信号の色がかわる、もしくは青になるという意味になります。
