じっとするって英語でなんて言うの？

ちょっと待って欲しい時は “Please wait there.” とか “Wait there for a minute.” とか “Hold on for a minute.” とか “Hang tight.” とか言います。動かないで欲しい時は “Don’t move.” とか “Don’t move a muscle.” （筋肉一つも動かさないで）とか “Stand still.” とか “Sit still.” とか “Stay still.” と言います。

「じっとする」はstay stillと言います(^_^)
例）
Small children can't stay still.
「小さな子供はジッとできない」
あるいは、「ジッと座っている」と言う意味でsit still とかも使います(^_^)
例）
Small children can't sit still.
「小さな子供はジッとできない」
