感染者が全国へ拡大しているって英語でなんて言うの？

最初は東京に集中していましたが、今は感染者が全国へ拡大していると言いたいです。

The infectious disease is spreading over the country.
（その感染症は全国に広がっている。）
casesは医療などで使った場合、「症例」と言う意味になります。
「拡大する」はspread「広がる」としました。

At first the cases were reported mainly in Tokyo, but now the number of positive cases of COVID-19 are expanding nationwide.
（最初は主に東京で症例が報告されていたが、現在は新型コロナウイルス陽性者の数は全国的に広がっている。）
