「前に少し相談した件ですが」は2つの言い方で、「Regarding the matter we discussed previously」や「In regards to the matter we talked about before」と言います。
2つの言い方で同じ意味です、一つ目の「Regarding the matter」という表現はとても丁寧です。
尚、「結局 ~~ になりました」は英語で「 I ended up～」と言います。
