部屋を交換って英語でなんて言うの？

他の質問者さんで同じ質問があったのですが、回答では\"swap rooms with my brother\"　などswapを使っていました。
\"exchange rooms with my brother\" or \"exchange my room for my brother's one\"と言うことはできますか？
swapとexchangeで使い方の違いはありますか？

部屋を交換することは exchange を使って言いません。通常 exchange は物を他の物と交換したり、取り替えたりする時に使うのが一般的です。

swap 以外にも switch や change なら使えます。
ーto switch rooms with my brother
ーto change rooms with my brother

例：
I switched rooms with my brother because he wanted a bigger room and I wanted a bigger closet.
「弟は大きい部屋が欲しくて、私は大きいクローゼットが欲しかったので、弟と部屋を交換した」
