「情報を交換する」にした方が訳しやすいですし、たぶん使いやすいと思います。
information は「情報」ですね、
「交換する」には exchange を使いました。

「交換」は英語でexchangeと言います。動詞の形が同じくexchange（交換する）であるので、「情報交換」はinformation exchangeと言えますが、最も使われてる表現はexchange information（情報を交換する）になります。
