「昔遊んでいた」を形容詞として使う場合で日本語と順番が違いますね。

最近、昔遊んでいたゲームがやりたい
この表現は直訳になりますね。自然に使えますが、
Lately I want to play games from my childhood (子供のころのゲームをやりたい）
Lately I want to play games that I used to play in high school (高校のころのゲームをやりたい）
の方がSNSで使いそうな表現ですね。
a long time agoはちょっと曖昧で、いつやっていたかよく覚えられないというニュアンスが少し含まれているからです。
