なぜ質問したかというとって英語でなんて言うの？

なぜ質問したかというと、最近やる気が起きないと伝えたいです。

「なぜ質問をしたかというと、最近何もやる気がないからです」
The reason why I asked that question is/was because .... で「なぜ質問したかというと…だからです」と表現できます。
to have the desire  to ... で「…する意欲がある」

「なぜ質問したかというと」は英語で「The reason (why) I asked the question is because...」になります。

カッコにある「why」はあってもなくても大丈夫です。

このような状況では、色々な理由があれば、複数の「reasons」を使います。そうしたら、「is」は「are」と言います。

一つの理由だけだったら、そのままで「reason」と「is」を使います。

例文：

The reason why I asked the question is because recently, I've had no motivation.
なぜ質問したかというと、最近やる気が起きない。

The reasons why I asked the questions are because recently, I've had no motivation and I haven't been able to rest.
なぜ質問したかというと、最近やる気が起きなくて休めなかったです。
