to dump で「恋人を振る」
次のように言った方が自然です。
ーHe begged his girlfriend again and again not to break off their relationship.
「彼は彼女に別れないでと何度も懇願した」
to beg で「懇願する・請い求める」
again and again で「何度も」
to break off one's relationship で「別れる・恋愛関係を断つ」

beg はとても感情がこもった「懇願する」で、日常英語では自然です。repeatedly を入れることで「何度も」がしっかり伝わります。

plead with は「強く頼む」という意味で、少しフォーマル寄りです。again and again で「繰り返し」を強調できます。
