試着した服が単数扱いか、複数扱いかによって言い方が異なりますが、次のように言えます。
ーIt wasn't my size. / They weren't my size.
「私のサイズじゃなかった」＝「サイズが合わなかった」
ーIt was the wrong size. / They were the wrong size.
「サイズ間違いだった」＝「サイズが合わなかった」

例：
I tried on a pair of jeans, but they weren't the right size, so I didn't buy them.
「ジーンズを試着したがサイズが合わなかったので買わなかった」
to try on ... で「…を試着する」
they weren't the right size「正しいサイズではなかった」＝「サイズが合わなかった」
