  • I'll need a little more time to think about this.

  • I'm not quite ready to give you an answer.

I'll need a little more time (to think about this) before I answer the question. I'm not quite ready to give you an answer. 直接時間をくださいとお願いする表現としては、 "Please give me a little more time."

  • Gimme a sec.

  • Just hold on.

  • Please wait a moment.

The first two options are casual. 1. Gimme a sec (give me a second) - you need a short time to think about or do, something. 2. Hold on - to wait. 3. Please wait a moment. This is more formal. We use a moment to express a short period of time.
1. Gimme a sec(Give me a second):考えたり、何かをする時間をくれ、という意味。 2. Hold on : 待つ 3: Please wait a moment: これはよりフォーマルな言い方です。

  • Can you give me some time to chew that over?

  • Would you let me have some time to consider that?

"Can you give me some time to chew that over?" means that you would like extra time to assess the situation. To chew something over = to think about or discuss something carefully for a long time: "I've been chewing the problem over since last week." To consider something = to spend time thinking about a possibility or making a decision: "Don't make any decisions before you've considered the situation." "Have you considered what you'll do if you don't get the job?"
"Can you give me some time to chew that over?" "I've been chewing the problem over since last week." Don't make any decisions before you've considered the situation." 例:"Have you considered what you'll do if you don't get the job?"

  • I will think about it and ,come back to you.

  • Please give me time to think about it. I will come back to you.

Since some requests or questions require careful responses. It is absolutely necessary to ask for some time to think and come up with a response that the other person will be satisfied with. So you may say, 'I will think about it and come back to you or, 'please give me time to think about it. I will come back to you'.
I will think about it and come back to you 考えてご連絡します。 please give me time to think about it. I will come back to you.

"Give me a moment" is an Idiom... as is "Hold on give me a second or two..." We may not have the answer immediately and need some "thinking time". "Please give me some time to think it over:" or .."Let me get back to you, when I have had time to consider all the facts"
"Give me a moment"や、"Hold on give me a second or two..." すぐに答えられず、考える時間が欲しいときには、   "Please give me some time to think it over:" ちょっと考える時間をください。 Let me get back to you, when I have had time to consider all the facts" 全部考えてから、返事させてください。

  • Could you give me some time to think?

  • Sorry but could you give me a minute to think?

Remember it's important to be polite. That's why I always recommend to use "sorry" and "could" at the beginning of the sentence, although, it's not obligatory to use them but I recommend to.

  • Give me a minute to think about it

  • Could I have a moment to think about it

  • Let me think about it

Could I have a moment to think about it です。 Give me a minute to think about it の方が普通です。 Let me think about it です。
