合計で５年滞在予定で、すでに３年滞在しているって英語でなんて言うの？

「合計」はレシートとかで見たらTotalに訳されていますね。文書で使ってもtotalにするのが自然です。そして、「滞在」はliveとかstayとかbeなどいろいろな言い方がありますが、この話ではその三つがいいと思います。「すでに」はalreadyです。

例文：I originally planned to stay for 5 years, but in a flash, 3 years have already passed!（この英文で「もしかして5年以上滞在予定に変更するかなぁ」みたいな意味が伝わります。）
