「母は22歳の冬にイギリスへ渡りました。私も今22歳の冬を迎えています。」と言う文章にしたいのですが、
「迎える」の表現と、「22歳の冬」の表現の仕方がよくわかりません。

- It is approaching the winter of the 22nd year of my life.
- I am welcoming the 22nd winter of my life.
「母は22歳の冬にイギリスへ渡りました。私も今22歳の冬を迎えています。」
- My mother was in England during the winter of her 22nd year of life. I too am now welcoming the 22nd winter of my life.
かなり古い英語の話し方になってしまいました。
こういう独特な文章を完璧に英語にやくすのは難しいです。
