"Can you proofread my sentences?"で問題ありませんが、"can you proofread my writing?"、"can you proofread what I've written?"、"can you proofread my essay?"などの言い方も出来ます。
会話中などで間違いを直してもらいたい場合：
① "Could you correct me if there are any mistakes?"＝「直してくれますか、もし間違いがあったら。」
会話中や書いたものを直してほしい場合：
② "If there are any mistakes, would you fix them for me?"＝「もし間違いがあったら、それらを私のために直してくれませんか。」
