領収書もレシートも receipt と言うので、次のように使い分けると良いでしょう。
ーWhen we give customers a hand-written receipt, we can't give you a till receipt as well.
「お客様に領収書を出すときは、レシートを渡すことはできません」
a hand-written receipt で「領収書」
a till receipt で「レシート」

ーWe can't make out a receipt and give you a receipt from the till.
「領収書を書いて、レジからレシートも渡すことはできません」
to make out a receipt で「領収書を書く」
to give you a receipt で「レシートを渡す」
