『パソコンのファンが唸っている』は、いくつか言い方が考えられますが、例えば、
My computer is making a buzzing noise.
と言えます。buzzing noise は、『ブーンという音』で、パソコンのファンがブーンという音を立てているのを表現する際によく使われ、この場合の『唸っている』というニュアンスを伝えられます。
少し変えて、
My computer’s fan is louder than usual with a buzzing sound.
とすると、『私のパソコンのファンがブーンという音でいつもよりもうるさい。』炉も言えますね！
