この場合、次のように言うと良いと思います。
ーI heard from someone on another team that the day they are going to discontinue Product A has changed. Do you know if this is actually the case?
「他のチームの人から、商品Aの販売終了日が変更になったと聞きました。実際はどうなんでしょう？」
the discontinued date は不自然なので、the day they are going to discontinue Product A のような言い方をすると良いでしょう。
