地球の表面は、陸地が３割、海が７割を占めます。って英語でなんて言うの？

この場合、次のような言い方ができます。

ーThe surface of the earth is 30% land and 70% ocean.
「地球の表面は３割が陸地で７割が海です」
the surface of the earth で「地球の表面」

ー70% of the earth's surface is covered with water and 30% is covered with land.
「地球の表面の７割水で覆われており、３割が陸で覆われている」
海だけでなく川や湖なども含めるなら、ocean でなく water と言うと良いでしょう。
