会話が3往復したって英語でなんて言うの？

①　"They were able to have three verbal exchanges with each other."＝「３往復の会話を彼らは出来た。」

直訳ではありませんが、①では「往復」をverbal exchangeと訳しました。

②　"Each person was able to ask and answer a question three times to each other."＝「各人は質問と回答を相手に3回できた。」
