'request' は依頼する、'permission'は許可、という単語でそれらを用いて 「I would like to request the permission of use of the illustration of xxxx.」という依頼文を作ることができます。もしくはMay I....?から始まる「～したいのですが（よろしいですか）？」という文章で尋ねることもできます。 参考になれば幸いです。
