「アラームが鳴る」の「鳴る」は go off ということが多いです。
「鳴らなかった」なら didn't go off で OK です。
最近では「目覚まし」といっても「目覚まし時計」よりもスマホの目覚ましを使う人が多いかと思うので、alarm clock（目覚まし時計）ではなく alarm とだけ言えばスマホのアラームにも使えます。
ぜひ参考にしてください。
目覚ましが鳴らなかった、は以下のように英訳できます。
１）My alarm clock didn't work this morning!
＝今朝、目覚まし時計が機能しなかった＝目覚ましが鳴らなかった
２）My alarm clock didn't ring this morning!
＝今朝、目覚まし時計が鳴らなかった
