欲しいものは買っていいよって英語でなんて言うの？

You can buy what you want.のほかに
You can buy what you like.は可能でしょうか。同じような意味の場合もあるのか、
「厳密な」使い分けがあるのかが知りたいです。

おっしゃったように、「You can buy what you want.」は普通ですが、「You can buy what you like.」はちょっと変です。

「You can buy what you like.」を使うために、「what」を「whatever」に変更しなくてはならないと思います。

「You can buy whatever you like.」

ちなみに、「You can buy whatever you want.」を言う場合もあります。
